  • How do I activate my Voicemail?

    During your first call to the voicemail (1996), you will be guided to start up your voicemail.

    At activation of your voicemail, you need to enter a voicemail password to secure your voicemail and to prevent fraud and abuse. The password cannot contain 4 exact digits (e.g. 4444) nor 4 consecutive digits (e.g. 4567).

  • Can I change the language of my Voicemail?

    If you wish to change the language of your voicemail, please visit mysimyo on the website. Go to 'My numbers', click then 'Manage card' en check 'customer data' at the left. Here you can change the language.

    If this would not work, please contact our helpdesk via the link 'Mail us your question' and indicate the language of your choice.

  • How to change the forwarding time to my Voicemail?

    If you wish your handset to ring a couple of seconds longer prior to forwarding your call to the voicemail, you may select 5-10-15-20-25 or 30 seconds (maximum is 30 seconds).

    To configure the number of seconds, please enter following code:
    **61*+32486191996**time#, followed by call
    (e.g. **61*+32486191996**30#, followed by call)

  • How do I reach my Voicemail?

    To reach your voicemail, call 1996.

    From a fixed phone, please call 0486191933.

    From abroad, please call +32486191996.

  • Can I consult my voicemail from abroad?

    You can consult your voicemail from abroad by calling +32486191996. Please do keep in mind that roaming charges are being applied when consulting your voicemail when being abroad.

  • How can I change the Voicemail notifications?

    Call 1996 and choose option 9
     

  • Can I deactivate my Voicemail forward?

    Yes! Please consult your handset's manual.

  • What messages are not stored?

    Voicemail message shorter then 4 seconds, are not stored in your Voicemail.
    The maximum number of messages is limited to 15.
    Heared messages are stored for 3 days. Unheared messages are stored for 7 days.

  • How can I reset my voicemail?

    First of all you need to cancel all call forwards on your handset. To deactivate all forwards at once, enter following code #002# and press call.
    Then you need to configure call forwards via the menu ‘call forwards’ in your handset. The number of the voicemail center is +32486191996.
    Call 1996 and follow the instructions.
     

  • Can I leave a message without actually calling my contact?

    Unfortunately this is not possible; 'Voicemail Deposit' is not active for simyo
